📣 Def. Hosting consists in putting a website on a server so that anyone on the Internet can access it.

We offer 3 types of hosting on Kimple :

a) Kimple domain name

When to use this type of hosting? You can use this type of hosting when you don't have a domain name and personal hosting at your disposal.

A url is already predefined, but you can personalize it.

Next, select the operation(s) you wish to associate with the mini-site.

If you select a series of operations, the operations will be displayed on the site according to their end date.

b) Hosting and personal domain name

When you choose this configuration mode, you must select the operation or series of operations to be associated.

Finally, you can retrieve the javascript SDK link and integration tag to install on your personal website to display the format.

c) Domain name without hosting

  • Enter the url you wish to use for configuration and define the operation(s) to be associated → See the article that explains the process to follow for setting up the domain name

When setting up the domain name, you need to add the sub-domain and extension (.fr,.com,.org...)

  • Next, check the configuration of your domain name

In particular, you can add one or more slugs by specifying the domain name and selecting the related operation(s).

The slug must always be written in small letters.

📣 Def. What is a slug? A slug is the identifier of a page and is integrated at the end of a URL.

See the article on how to configure slugs

Please note that the domain name must be unique to the mini-site. If you wish to use the domain name on a new mini-site, you'll need to remove it from the old one.
