Email campaigns

Step 1: Email campaigns home page

On the campaign management page, you'll find all the information you need to manage your campaigns.

  • The number of credits is shown. You can manage your consumption and buy credit packs by clicking on the "Manage my credits" button.

  • On the management tab, e-mail campaigns are organized in a table and classified under 5 categories :

All : Category for all email campaigns

Online : Category for campaigns currently online

Scheduled : Category for campaigns scheduled to be sent.

Draft : Category for campaigns currently being created

Completed: Category for campaigns nearing completion.

Each category is represented by a specific color.

  • On the table, certain data are highlighted for each email campaign :

Average open rate: the number of emails opened in relation to the total number of emails delivered.

Click-through rate: the number of clicks made on clickable elements in the email, compared with the number of emails sent.

Mails sent: The number of emails sent.

Mails opened: Number of emails opened by recipients

Bounce rate: The proportion of undelivered emails in relation to the total number of emails sent.

  • Options are available on the right-hand side of the email campaign table. These give you access to modification, deletion, duplication, test sending, preview and access to the email link.

Step 2 : Create an e-mail campaign

Click on the "create a campaign" button ⇒ A pop-up window will appear, asking you to enter the name of your new campaign, which will be visible to recipients.

  • Once the name has been validated, you'll be taken to the email campaign settings stage. You'll need to enter 4 pieces of information:

Sender name: Visible to recipients

Sender address: Allows you to tell recipients where the email originates from

Reply-to address: The address to which the recipient can reply

Email subject: Tells recipients the subject of the email.

Tip: you can personalize your email subject by adding variables or including emojis.

(For all data records, you'll find the date and time of the last record at the top left of your screen).

Step 3 : Email design

  • The design stage (Email builder) allows you to create the content of your email. To do this, you'll need to define the layout of your email. You can drag, drop and delete blocks. Then all you have to do is integrate the available elements into each block:

- Image

- Text

- Button

- Separator

- HTML

You can customize each element; determine the font color, the element layout, add a link...

At this stage, you can preview your email by clicking on the "Send test" button. The "Preview" option is available, allowing you to get an idea of how the email will look.

Step 4 : Configure sending mode

The final step is to configure the sending mode of your e-mail campaign.

First, you'll need to select the operation associated with the email campaign.

Next, you'll need to choose a trigger to put your campaign online.

Scheduled: Set the date and time you want your email campaign to be sent.

This trigger sends the email to all participants in your operation.

After an event: You'll need to define the action that triggers the email to be sent to the participant. Emails will be sent immediately after the event.

Once you've set up your e-mail campaign, simply click on the "go live" button. You'll be presented with a summary before going online, and you'll need to confirm the upload again. If any information is missing or partially completed, the summary will indicate this and the "go live" button will be unavailable.

Once your campaign is online, you can follow its progress on the dashboard in the Management section.
