Prizes are the key factor when it comes to boosting your participation rate. When organizing a competition, it is essential to integrate the prizes into the implementation of your operation. It is imperative to correctly configure the prizes of your competition.

To do this, go to the "Legal" tab. In the “Prizes for your project” section, click on the green button to the right of the screen entitled “Add a new prize”.

Kimple enables you to configure each prize of your competition by entering the title of the gift, an image (transparent .png format recommended) and a description of the prize.

The image of your prize is essential for an instant win game. This image will appear on the “Win” page of your operation when the participant wins the prize.

When you edit your prize, you must provide at least a title, a photo and a description if you want to display this information on the win page. You're not obliged to display this information and can choose which of these details you want to automatically show when someone wins a prize.

You then have the unit value of your gift, its quantity and the type of distribution to input.

Quantity:

  • Limited: you indicate the maximum amount of possible gain on this prize

  • Unlimited: all participants will win at least this prize

Distribution type:

  • Random: your gift will be distributed during the game period of your campaign. By selecting the "random" distribution option you give free rein to our server to choose the dates. This calculates safety margins at the beginning and at the end of your game so as not to distribute a gift just after the start or just before the end of the campaign. It will then allocate the prizes as best as possible to space them out over time, but if you configure 10 random gifts over 10 days that does not mean that there will be one gift per day. For example, there could be 1 on the first day, 2 on the second and 0 on the third.

  • Personalized: you can choose the time slot during which the gift will be distributed (useful if you want to distribute a certain number of prizes per day). By scheduling your distributions, you ensure that the prizes will be won within these time slots. If no one wins the giveaway within the scheduled time, the giveaway will automatically be won by the first person who logs in after these dates because it's an open instant win.

The option "Activate the closed instant win for this prize" allows you not to put the gift back into play when its distribution dates have passed.

Click on "Save" to confirm the addition of your prize.

Returning to the "Legal" tab, you will have a summary of your gift which allows you to check the total quantity entered, the number of gifts of this type distributed and those that remain to be distributed. Right next to it you will find the distribution information: is the gift distributed on specific dates or during the entire duration of your operation?

On the right, you have a series of icons...

...that allow you to:

When your operation is online, the delete icon disappears, a pause icon is now present:

The pause button allows you to suspend your gift: no one will be able to win it while it remains paused. Be careful even if you pause the gift, all the winning dates remain in our server, so when you unpause your gift, all the gifts that have not been distributed during the break when they should have been delivered will be delivered to all the next participants.

The edit button right next to the pause button will allow you to edit the title and image of your prize but once live, you won't be able to edit its distribution dates or quantity. To do this you can pause the defective gift and add a new one with the desired quantities and distribution dates.

The pictogram "Currently being awarded" activates when your gifts are in their distribution period, which is very handy for checking them at a glance.

As part of a winning moment, this step is essential to configure your "Win" page. Thus, when a participant wins a prize, the "Win" page will reveal the title of the prize, the description as well as the visual of the prize entered in the "Legal" part of your operation.

You can edit your prize and decide what you want to show on the winning page.

You can move your title and description wherever you want and resize your image, making it larger or smaller.
