In the framework of the RGPD, you must indicate in your rules the duration of the retention of customer data.
To manage this aspect as well as possible, Kimple has set up a section in the platform dedicated to Data Protection.
In this tab, you will find :
Deletion of customer data
Consultation history
Contact of the Kimple DPO
Data breach notification policy
The "data removal" part is the one we are most interested in today.
When you start a game, you must indicate how long you want to keep the data, this is often 3 months and can go up to 36 months.
Once that time has passed, you must go to Kimple to proceed with "data removal."
In reality, we do not delete the data, but it will be anonymized. That is, the statistical data will still be available (number of visitors, participants, conversion rate, optin rate ...)
However, participants will no longer be identified. Their personal data will be replaced by a series of random numbers/letters that will no longer allow them to be recognized.
Kimple offers you to do it either for a person who would request it or for a complete operation.
Please note that this manipulation can only be done once the operation is completed.
It is important to note that you must make sure that you have processed all the claims before anonymizing an operation.
We recommend that this be done 3 months after the end of the game
And don't forget that according to the RGPD, all the participants are co-responsible for the data processing until the proof of the removal of the file.
