Start on Kimple

Find all the information to get you started on Kimple.

Hello and welcome to Kimple!

Let's go through the steps necessary to get you started with your first game.

Feel free to request our training video from your project manager or from the technical support.

Choose your project

Go to the game catalog by clicking on this icon in the left menu:

You will then have access to all our projects sorted into 4 categories.

The new games

These are the recently released games that we are highlighting so that you can be aware of them at first glance.

Contest projects

This type of operation often allows you to make your brand known and to educate your consumers (quiz, just price...) and to collect opinions, information and content from consumers (photo contest, personality test, poll, battle...).

It is therefore a question of qualification, generally it intervenes in a second time.

Instant win projects

These are the most appropriate game types to start your strategy. They allow you to recruit volume in a short time.

Indeed, the consumer knows immediately at the end of his journey if he has won or lost a prize. It is a very engaging project that encourages the user to fill out the form.

Playful projects

These projects are essentially there to animate your community. They are more sophisticated games like fruit ninja, Candy Crush, memory.

They are usually combined with a prize draw.

Choose one of the instant wins games (Scratch, Jackpot, Wheel of Luck, Fast Cup, Gift Win, Pinata, Winning Dice or Card Flip) and press "Create the project".

Set up your game

Here you are in your operation. There are 5 steps to follow to create your game, put it online and distribute it. Let's go !

General section

Indicate a title, start and end dates, a sector of activity and fill in a description for your project. All these parameters can be modified as long as the project is not online.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Save and Continue".

The rest of the options are explained in more detail in the training video and in other articles.

Editing the game

Once you have validated your general options page, you will arrive at the game editor. This is where you will define which pages will be displayed, which images and which elements will be part of your game.

Create the path of your game - Management of pages :

In order to be able to navigate and see the different pages of your game, you can click on the module pages. By editing them you will have access to options to rename them, change their length etc.

You can add pages with the green button on the left "Add a new page". Please note that some page types can only be present once in your game.

Also be sure to respect the typology of the pages. Do not invert, for example, the won page with the lost page, otherwise all your losers will win and inversely.

To delete pages, you can access a trash under the name of each page. Be careful, you must not be on the page you want to delete to access this trash. Go to an adjacent page.

Add backgrounds to your pages :

To add a page background, two possibilities :

  • apply an identical default background for all your pages by device, go to the configuration of the size of your operation by clicking on this icon :

Specify the width of your desktop version, select your display settings, specify a default background color or choose your default visuals by device.

  • To modify the background of my game per page, you just have to click on the "Background" icon located on the top right of the working area. You will then have access to the file manager which manages your files and you will only have to click on the image concerned to display it in the background of your page.

Be careful, if you want to have a different background per page, you will have to do this on all the platforms where you want to distribute your game. To access these platforms, click on the Mobile, Desktop or Facebook buttons on the left of the editor.

The File Manager - management of images :

Here for the background, but also for any image, you will access the file manager. This is a tool to collect all your images and where you can find them and use them at any time.

Drag all the backgrounds you have planned for your game to the central area of the file manager. You will see the images gradually loading. When they do, click on the tab at the top called "My Files". All your files will be grouped there. Click on the background you have chosen for your page.

Repeat for all pages, on all platforms.

Add and edit elements of your pages

On the left side of the game editor you have a column that summarizes all the elements you can add on your pages.

They are multiple: text, image, button, video, popin, access code, additional form, Facebook like, Facebook share

To add one, just click on it and it will appear in the top left corner of your screen.

To move it, hold the click on the element and place it where you want.

All elements can be edited and contain many features. To access them you can hover over the element with your mouse and click on the "Edit" icon with the pencil.

A pop-up menu will open on the right. Feel free to explore all the options available.

Items are added at the same time on all platforms of your operation. All you have to do is place them, all checked options remain the same between desktop, mobile and Facebook.

Configure your form

To configure your form, click on the "Edit" icon as if you were editing an item. A pop-up window will open.

Click on the fields you want to display or uncheck the ones you are not interested in. Be careful, the email address is mandatory on the main form of the operation. It is thanks to it that we link all the information in the database.

To add a field that does not exist by default, click on the "Add a Field" button.

Choose the type of field you want, indicate its name and its specificities and save. Your field has been created.

Feel free to customize the appearance of your form in the "Appearance" tab and to manage the placement of fields and their layout on 1 or 2 columns in the "Configuration" tab.

Configuring your game

All the games work almost like the elements. Click on the edit icon and access their options.

Special case - The winning page

In the case of a winning instant you will have a lost page and a winning page.

On the winning page you will find an element with a title, a description and a grey image. This element will be modified according to the prizes that you will indicate in the tab "Legal". So if your consumer wins a cap, it is your text, image and description of the cap that will appear here.

Once the appearance of your operation is finished, it is time to configure the number of authorized participations, the prizes distributed and import your legal documents (rules, legal mentions...).

The legal

In the legal tab you will find first the options "Limitations and participations". These options allow you to limit your game to a maximum number of participations. Click on the checkbox if you want to activate the option and then choose the frequency with which your participant can return.

At the bottom of the page you will find the options that allow you to configure the distribution of your prizes.
