  1. Introduction to the Game

The Winning Calendar is an instant-win game mechanic that allows you to create a recurring calendar. You can use Kimple to set the number of days for your game and customize the calendar to reflect your brand’s image.

2. Game Pages

Click the “Create a Campaign” button to access our game catalog and select the Winning Calendar game.

You’ll first need to set the name of your campaign, the language, the publication dates, the description, and the highlight before you can access your game’s course

In journey mode, you’ll see a predefined path with the following pages:

  • Simple Page (Home)

  • Simple Page (Form)

  • “Winning Calendar” Game Page

  • Win Page

  • Loss Page

Of course, you can rename the page titles and reorder them.

3. Game configuration

With Kimple, you’ll be able to graphically customize every element that makes up your winning calendar. From the side menu on the right, you can access the various configuration steps.

First, configure your calendar's general settings by specifying the number of boxes to display. You can create a calendar with up to 62 boxes, allowing you to perform activities of varying durations based on your needs.

You can then choose whether or not to enable the Today box. When this option is enabled, the box corresponding to the current date is highlighted to make it easier for participants to identify.

Finally, define the layout of your calendar’s boxes by selecting one of the templates offered in the configurator. Several layouts are available to help you tailor the calendar’s appearance to your brand identity and design requirements.

For each layout, you can customize the calendar display by choosing to automatically shuffle the boxes, set the margins between them, and adjust the calendar’s width and the size of the boxes.

If the available templates don’t meet your needs, you can also freely position the boxes on your calendar to create a fully customized layout.

Finally, you can customize the overall design of your calendar by adding the various visuals that will make up your campaign. You can define the appearance of the default box used for all unopened boxes, the “today’s box,” which will be automatically updated based on the calendar date, and the “past box,” displayed once a box has been opened.

You can also customize the visuals for the “win” and “lose” boxes. These two elements will be automatically applied to all boxes on the calendar based on the participant’s result.

Finally, you can animate the calendar boxes by defining animations for different states: when a box is opened, when the mouse hovers over it, when a user clicks on an unavailable box (incorrect click), and when the mouse hovers over today's box.

Double-clicking on a box opens a configuration window. You can then set the type of redirection associated with that box and enable the “Box active after the date has passed” option if you want it to remain accessible after its date has passed.

You can also customize each box individually by adding images corresponding to its default state, the “box of the day,” and the “past box.” It’s also possible to set custom images for “won” and “lost” boxes specific to that box.

Finally, if you enable the “Prize by Image” option, the image of the prize won will automatically be displayed to the participant in the event of a win.

💡Best Practice

Before going live, verify that each calendar box is properly configured (redirect, win/loss status, and associated visuals) to ensure a consistent experience throughout the campaign.
