Introduction to the Game
Flap Flap is a fun game inspired by “Flappy Bird” that uses gravity, where the goal is to guide your character as far as possible while avoiding a series of obstacles.
2. Game Pages
Click the “Create a Campaign” button to access our game catalog and select the “Flap Flap” game.
First, you’ll need to set the name of your campaign, the language, the publication dates, the description, and the highlight before you can access your game’s course.
In journey mode, you’ll find a predefined path with the following pages:
Single page (Home)
Single page (Form)
“Flap flap” game page
Post-participation page
Of course, you can rename the page titles and change their order.
3. Game configuration
With Kimple, you'll be able to customize the appearance of every element that makes up your flap flap. In your design area, you can edit the page. From the side menu on the right, you can access the various configuration steps.
To start, Kimple lets you set the difficulty level of your game by choosing from three options: easy, medium, or hard. The higher the difficulty level, the closer the obstacles are to each other, making the game more challenging.
You can then configure the scoring system by determining the number of points awarded for each obstacle completed.
Finally, you can set up a redirect at the end of the game either to a specific page within the course or based on the participant’s score.
For score-based redirection, you can create multiple point ranges and associate a redirect page with each one. Participants will then be redirected to a different page based on their final score.
During the customization step, you can customize the appearance of each element in your game by importing your own images.
Start by adding the game’s background image (450 × 600 px), then customize the bird with an image in 30 × 30 px format.
You can also customize the obstacles by adding images of the pipes (70 × 500 px). There are two images to configure: one for the top pipe and one for the bottom pipe.
4. Configuring Additional Elements: Timer and Score
In addition to the Flap Flap game, you can configure two other elements on the page: Timer and Score.
For the score display, you can choose to show either the participant’s current score or their high score.
Tip💡You can easily insert two score elements to display the participant's best score and current score on the same page.
As for the timer, you can set the game duration in minutes and/or seconds. There is also an option that allows you to display the remaining time in seconds on the page, even if the game duration was set in minutes. This gives participants a more accurate indication of how much time they have left.
Finally, you can choose the timer's style whether you want to display it as a counter or a circular timer.

💡 Best Practice
Add a tutorial page before the game starts to explain the game controls on desktop and mobile and help participants get the hand of the game.
