  1. Introduction to the Game

The Puzzle” is an interactive game where participants must use an image as a guide to reposition each piece of the puzzle to recreate an exact replica of the model.

2. Game Pages

Click the “Create a Campaign” button to access our game catalog and select the Puzzle game.

You’ll first need to set the name of your campaign, the language, the publication dates, the description, and the highlight before you can access your game’s course.

In journey mode, you’ll see a predefined path with the following pages:

  • Single Page (Home)

  • Single Page (Form)

  • Puzzle Game Page

  • Post-Participation Page

Of course, you can rename the page titles and change their order.

3. Game configuration

With Kimple, you'll be able to customize the appearance of every element that makes up your puzzle. In your design area, you can edit the page. From the side menu on the right, you can access the various configuration steps.

First, you'll be able to specify the number of puzzle pieces to adjust the difficulty level, as well as the landing page that appears once the participant has completed the puzzle.

Next, select the type of puzzle pieces: you can choose between standard puzzle pieces or geometric (square) pieces.

Finally, customize the appearance of your puzzle, including the template image (500x500px) and the movement arrows (60x60px).

Tip 💡 For the puzzle image, use a square format. By default, our graphic assets are 500x500px, but you're free to use any dimensions you like.

4. Configuring Additional Elements: Timer and Score

In addition to the puzzle game, you can configure two other elements on the page: the timer and the score.

For the score display, you can choose to show either the participant’s current score or their high score.

Tip 💡You can easily insert two score elements to display the participant's best score and current score on the same page.

As for the timer, you can set the game duration in minutes and/or seconds. There is also an option that allows you to display the remaining time in seconds on the page, even if the game duration was set in minutes. This gives participants a more accurate indication of how much time they have left.

Finally, you can choose the timer's style whether you want to display it as a counter or a circular timer.

💡 Best Practice

Include a tutorial page in your experience to explain to participants how to move the puzzle pieces on desktop and mobile. You can illustrate the instructions using text, visuals, screenshots, or a video to make it easier for participants to get started.
