Introduction to the Game
Jump Jump is a fun game inspired by the “Doodle Jump” app, where the goal is to get as high as possible by moving around.
2. Game Pages
Click the “Create a Campaign” button to access our game catalog and select the “Jump Jump” game.
First, you’ll need to set the name of your campaign, the language, the publication dates, the description, and the time zone before you can access your game’s course.
In journey mode, you’ll see a predefined path with the following pages:
Single Page (Home)
Single Page (Form)
“Jump Jump” Game Page
Post-Participation Page
Of course, you can rename the page titles and reorder them.
3. Game configuration
Using Kimple, you'll be able to customize the appearance of every element that makes up your Jump Jump. In your design area, you can edit the page. From the side menu on the right, you can access the various configuration options.
First, Kimple lets you set the number of platforms per line (you can choose between 8, 15, 30, or 45 platforms per line)
Next, set the number of points awarded for each platform cleared.
Next, you can set up a redirect at the end of the game, either to a specific page or based on the number of points earned.
For score-based redirection, you can define multiple point ranges and associate a redirect page with each one. This way, participants will be redirected to a different page depending on their final score.
Finally, you can customize the graphics of your game. Your game consists of a customizable background (500x500 px). Next, add the images that will make up your game elements: to do this, you’ll need to add the character image (50x50 px) as well as the different types of platforms.
You can customize the graphics for the basic platform (70x20 px), the moving platform (70x20 px), the breakable platform (70x20 px), and finally the platform that disappears when the player passes over it (70x20 px).
In addition, you can customize the appearance of the spring power-ups that allow your character to jump higher: add an image of the inactive spring (35 x 35 px) and the active spring (35 x 35 px) to create a small in-game animation.
4. Configuring Additional Elements: Timer and Score
In addition to the jump jump game, you can configure two other elements on the page: Timer and Score.
For the score, you can choose to display either the current score or the high score on the page.
Tip 💡You can easily insert two score elements to display the participant's best score and current score on the same page.
As for the timer, you can set the game duration in minutes and/or seconds. There is also an option that allows you to display the remaining time in seconds on the page, even if the game duration was set in minutes. This gives participants a more accurate indication of how much time they have left.
Finally, you can choose the timer's style whether you want to display it as a counter or a circular timer.

Best Practice 💡
Before launching, test your game on desktop and mobile to ensure the character moves smoothly and that the controls work properly on each platform.
