1.Introduction to the Game

The Basket Game is a fun game in which players use a basket to catch as many objects as possible before they hit the ground.

2. Game Pages

Click the “Create a Campaign” button to access our game catalog and select the “Basket Game”.

First, you’ll need to set the name of your campaign, the language, the publication dates, the description, and the time zone before you can access your game’s course.

In journey mode, you’ll see a predefined path with the following pages:

  • Single Page (Home)

  • Single Page (Form)

  • "Basket game" Page

  • Post-Participation Page

Of course, you can rename the page titles and change their order.

3. Game configuration

Using Kimple, you'll be able to customize the appearance of every element in your basket game. In your design area, you can edit the page. From the side menu on the right, you can access various configuration options.

First, you'll set up the general settings for the basket game, where you can choose the difficulty level.

The higher the difficulty level, the more intense the waves of falling objects will be.

You can enable options such as gravity reversal and/or rotation of the objects you need to catch.

Gravity Reversal

Kimple also lets you set the number of obstacles per line.

Next, you can enable the “enemy objects” option, that is, the objects you'll need to avoid using your basket. You can enable screen vibrations and/or the rotation of the objects to avoid…

Finally, you can set the number of points earned for objects caught and lost for objects to avoid, as well as the type of redirection.

You’ll be able to set the type of redirection either by page or by points when the game is over.

For redirection by points, you can add a score range and choose the redirection page for each configured range.

Finally, you can customize the game's graphics. Import into Kimple the image that serves as the game's background, the basket, the images to catch and avoid, and the obstacle graphic if you've enabled that option.

4. Configuring Additional Elements: Timer and Score

In addition to the game of the bask game, you can configure two other elements on the page: Timer and Score.

For the score, you can choose to display either the current score or the high score on the page.

Tip 💡You can easily insert two score elements to display the participant's best score and current score on the same page.

With the timer, you can set the game duration in minutes and/or seconds. There is an option that allows you to display the timer in seconds on the page if you have set the duration in minutes.

Finally, you can choose the timer's style whether you want to display it as a counter or a circular timer.

Best practice 💡Conduct live testing on different devices to validate the overall usability, performance, and clarity of interactions throughout the user journey.
