Introduction to the Game
Card Flip is a simple, instant-win game that’s quick to set up.
The participant is presented with several cards and must flip them over until they find or fail to find the winning card.
2. Game Pages
Click the “Create a Campaign” button to access our game catalog and select the Card Flip game.
You’ll first need to set the name of your campaign, the language, the publication dates, the description, and the time zone before you can access your game’s path.
In path mode, you’ll see a predefined path with the following pages:
Single Page (Home)
Single Page (Form)
Card Flip game Page
Win Page
Loss Page
Of course, you can rename the page titles and change their order.
3. Setting Up the game
In Kimple, you’ll be able to graphically customize every element that makes up your card flip. In your design space, you can edit the page. From the side menu on the right, you can access the various configuration steps.
First, you’ll be able to configure all the general settings related to your game :
Enable the option to randomly display the card back images (Each time you play, the art may vary depending on the number of card back images configured; however, the position of the cards remains fixed.)
Select the number of cards to display (up to 15)
The number of attempts to flip the cards
The number of matching cards needed to win
Set the type of redirect after the animation: Two types of redirects are available to a page or instant win. For an instant-win game, it’s essential to enable the instant win option, this will redirect the participant to the “won” or “lost” page.
💡Tip The instant-win redirect must be enabled on the page before the “win” and “lose” pages, or on the instant-win game page if there are no intermediate pages between the game page and the ‘win’ and “lose” pages.
You can position the cards anywhere on the game page. Simply double-click on a card, then drag it to the desired location on your page.
Next, you can customize the appearance of the game, define the back designs for the cards, and specify the winning and losing cards. The card format is flexible but must be the same for all cards.
You can enable the option to display the prize image when a card is a winner.
In particular, you can select the animations you want to apply to the cards when they are flipped over and/or when the cursor hovers over them.
💡Best Practice Before going live, run several success/failure tests to verify that the redirects are working correctly, that the cards are displaying properly, and that the configured visuals are consistent.
