The menu "My dedicated mini-sites" of Kimple allows you to create a mini-site, with a personalized background, to display each of your games. This system also allows you to integrate the mini-site on your domain name once and to change the game and/or background at will without any technical intervention.
General settings
To access it, you can click on the tab "My dedicated mini-sites" in the menu available on the left of your dashboard.
You will then be taken to the configuration area of your mini-site. At a glance, you can see your online and offline mini-sites.
You can edit and preview your already created mini-site by clicking on the pencil (edit) or magnifying glass (preview) icon respectively.
If you don't have a mini-site yet, just press the "Add a new mini-site" button at the top of your mini-site space.
To create a mini-site, you need to indicate the title of your mini-site (visible only to Kimple users) and the title of the page tab (which will be seen by all your users in the page tab as below).
Once you have filled in these two fields, click on "Add my mini-site". A form with several options will appear automatically.
You will be able to directly associate or modify an operation, in other words the contest that will be displayed on the mini-site, you will also be able to choose a favicon, different backgrounds per page and style options for the whole mini-site.
You can choose a different background image per page to personalize your website.
When you have filled in all the required options, you can click on "Save and continue" to reach the installation part of the mini-site.
Installation of the mini-site.
When arriving at the installation part, there are three different options to install your dedicated mini-site. Below you will find the technical details for each installation process.
I don't have hosting or a domain name, I use Kimple.
This option has the advantage of being immediately available without purchasing a domain name or hosting.
All you have to do is customize the address where you want your users to play. The first part of the address https://kx1.co/website/ cannot be modified.
If you want to have a personalized address, you will just have to choose one of the other two options available in the menu.
Once these tasks are done, you can activate your mini-site by clicking on "Activate my mini-site".
I have a domain name but no hosting
If you have purchased a domain name but do not have the possibility to host the site, you will have to choose this option.
You will only need to mention the domain name you have purchased in the "Domain name of my mini-site" field. The "Check my mini-site configuration" button allows you to see if everything is active and ready to communicate your game.
In order for the redirection of your url to our hosting to be active, you will need to contact the provider from whom you purchased your domain name (OVH, Amazon, Webservice, etc.) and add a CNAME redirection on the website.kx1.co domain.
Once these tasks are done, you can activate your mini-site by clicking on "Activate my mini-site".
I have a hosting and a domain name
You just have to integrate our SDK of mini-site and the div that will display it. This intervention will be done only once. You can then easily change the background of the site, and the game will be integrated on your site without the intervention of your internal teams, directly from Kimple.
Once these tasks are done, you can activate your mini-site by clicking on "Activate my mini-site".
Advanced HTML / CSS / JS customization
For the more technical among you, it will be possible to intervene in HTML, CSS and JS on the whole mini-site. To do so, you just have to go to the "HTML/CSS/JS" tab of your mini-site.
You will discover the whole structure of the page "Mini-site" in the HTML part. This will give you the possibility to intervene on the whole page, header and footer included.
Be careful, you must never remove or damage one of our pre-made tags of the type [[ TITLE_BALISE ]]. These are the tags that allow your game to be displayed and to work properly.
We also remind you that we do not intervene in support if your JS or HTML code harm the proper functioning of the game or the mini-site. In case of blocking, we will simply reset the HTML/CSS/JS of the mini-site.
