Introduction to the game
Scratch is a game mechanic inspired by scratch cards. By scratching the image, this instant win feature will reveal whether you have won a prize or not.
2. Game pages
Click on the “create an operation” button to access our game catalog and select the scratch game
You will first need to define the name of your operation, the language, the publication dates, the description, and the time zone before you can access your game's path.
In course mode, you will find a predefined path with pages:
Single page (Home)
Single page (Form)
Scratch game page
Winning page
Losing page
Of course, you can rename the page titles and change their position.
3. Setting up the game
From Kimple, you will be able to graphically customize all the elements that make up your scratch card. You can edit the page in your design space. From the side menu, you can access different configuration phases.
When editing the scratch page, you can first define the redirection after the image has been scratched.
Two types of redirection are available: by page or instant win. In the case of an instant win game, it is essential to activate the instant win feature, as this will redirect the participant to the win or loss page.
💡Tip : Instant win redirection must be enabled on the page before the win and lose pages or on the instant win game mechanics if there is no intermediate page between the mechanics page and the win/lose pages.
Next, customize your images graphically by adding a scratch-off image, a “win” image that is visible if the participant wins the prize, and a “lose” image if the participant does not win a prize.
You are free to add visuals in any size and shape you wish. The three images—scratch-off, win, and lose—just need to be the same size.
You can also define the scratch radius down to the pixel, which corresponds to the size of the scratched area when the user interacts with the scratch surface.
In addition, you can also activate the option to “display the image of the prize won.”
This means that the image integrated into the prize section is displayed when scratching (make sure that the prize image is the same size as your scratch image).
