Introduction to the game
The Wheel of Fortune is inspired by the famous game show of the same name. The principle is very simple: each participant spins the wheel and instantly finds out whether or not they have won a prize based on where the wheel stops.
2. Game pages
Click on the “create an operation” button to access our game catalog and select the Wheel of Fortune game.
You will first need to define the name of your operation, the language, the publication dates, the description, and the highlight before you can access your game's course.
In course mode, you will find a predefined path with pages:
Teaser page
Home page
Form page
Wheel of Fortune mechanic page
Winner page
Loser page
Maintenance page
End of promotion page
Of course, you can rename the page titles and change their position.
3. Game pages
From Kimple, you will be able to graphically customize all the elements that make up your wheel of fortune and associate a specific prize program for each segment of the wheel. You can edit the page in your design space. From the side menu on the right, you can access the different configuration phases.
First, define the redirection either by page or instant win. In the case of an instant win game, it is essential to activate the instant win feature, as this will redirect the participant to the win or loss page.
💡Tip
Instant win redirection must be enabled on the page before the win and lose pages or on the instant win game mechanics if there is no intermediate page between the mechanics page and the win/lose pages.
Next, you can use our platform to determine the duration of the animation in seconds and the position of the arrow on the wheel, whether it should be at the top or bottom of the visual, and more precisely, on the right or left.
Then, in a second step, you can define the number of segments that will make up the game structure. You will be able to select the segments that will be winners. In addition, you can activate the option that allows you to associate prizes with segments. Each segment can have one or more prizes attached to it.
Tip💡 Download the wheel template provided, which you can use as a model for the campaign's artistic direction and which your graphic design teams can use to create and customize the appearance of your wheel, segment by segment.
Finally, you can import the visual that constitutes the appearance of your wheel of fortune from the library, as well as the arrow element that acts as the wheel blocker when a participant triggers the wheel.
Best practice tip: Take the time to test every aspect of your game before launching it online to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for participants.
