Setting Up Double Opt-In V2

a) Configuring an Email Campaign

  • Creating an email in the Campaigns section

  • In the settings section, you will activate the restriction available in the advanced settings: “Send emails only to opt-in participants in this campaign.”

  • Set the “After an event” sending mode, then select the event: “After confirmation of attendance” or “After viewing a page.”

📢 Important: Emails linked to triggers after confirmation of participation are sent only upon the first participation.

  • Add the variable {{ promotion.confirm_double_opt_in_uri }}

💡 Design tip: Add the variable to a link

b) Configuration in the Campaign

  • When building your campaign in journey mode, you can add the double opt-in page. You’ll need to set up this opt-in confirmation page the page participants will land on after clicking the link.

  • Add a desktop background and a mobile background, and you can customize the text. You can set up this page as a game page.
