Integrate the mini-site on my domain name.

How do you get your domain name (URL) to lead to the Kimple mini-site?

First of all, you will need to buy a domain name from a web host (Gandi,OVH, Amazon web services etc.)

After your purchase, go to the administration of your provider.

When your domain name is available, you will need to go to the "DNS record" section and add a new CNAME record for the subdomain "www".

This record must contain "ssl.kx1.co." as the host name. For a V2 mini-site, the record must include "ssl-v2.kx1.co."(be sure to put the dot after the .co)

Gandi example:

You will then just have to enter your domain name in the "Installation" tab on Kimple and then in the "I have a domain name but no hosting" field

Put your full domain name with the www.

Then remember to make the redirections from the domain without the www to the domain with the www. (usually in a "Web Redirections" section at your provider)

A free "Let's Encrypt" SSL/TLS certificate valid for 90 days will be automatically created (only for your full domain, for example www.yourdomain.fr) when your DNS record is in place.

Note that there can be up to 24 hours of propagation delay for this to be active.

To set up your own SSL certificate instead of our free certificate, please contact your account manager directly.
